Kaun Pravin Tambe was released on Disney Plus Hotstar. This is the story of a dream and the determination to fulfill it. When the age is asking to retire from the game and the player fulfills the dream of starting his career, then he is called Pravin Tambe, and then Pravin Tambe is not just a question, he has become an inspirational answer.

Kaun Pravin Tambe Movie Story:

Kaun Pravin Tambe is the story of a boy from a lower-class family in Mumbai, who had only one dream since childhood, to play the Ranji Trophy. From the same Mumbai, where the God of Cricket Sachin Tendulkar lives. While some dreams get shattered under the weight of a weak economic background and responsibilities, Pravin Tambe’s dream was made of steely intentions, which get strength from his elder brother’s encouragement.

While listening to all the complaints of family and society, Pravin keeps trying to fulfill his dream. Meanwhile, marriage takes place, and children are born, but the dream is still not fulfilled. Time and age keep on passing. Eventually, his passion for cricket leads him to the Rajasthan Royals team of the IPL, where Pravin Tambe shows his talent even without playing first-class cricket. His dream was right, everything else was wrong.

Kaun Pravin Tambe Movie Review:

Kaun Pravin Tambe of Jaiprad Desai who came from Marathi films is his first Hindi film. The attitude of Indian families towards sports has not been very encouraging. In middle-class families, jugaad is often given more priority than sports. Sport is not seen as a job. Jaiprad has embedded this mindset in the story in a very interesting way. Encapsulates the thrill of the game and the spirit of family relationships. So interesting is Pravin Tambe’s own story, which is beautifully presented through the screenplay by screenwriter Kiran Yagnoveet.

Acting:

Shreyas Talpade has played cricket again on screen in the role of Pravin Tambe. Shreyas also debuted as a bowler in his first Bollywood film Iqbal and has returned as leg-spinner Pravin Tambe. The difference is that Iqbal was young and fictional, while Pravin is a real middle-aged character. But, the way Shreyas has cast this character, is amazing. Ashish Vidyarthi has done a good job in the character of coach Vidya Pulaskar. At the same time, Parambrata Chatterjee’s role as sports journalist Rajat Sanyal supports the story. Anjali Patil’s role in the role of a wife is not much, but wherever she has come, she has settled on the screen.

Verdict:

Kaun Pravin Tambe is a hopeful film, in which the biggest lesson is to believe in yourself with stubbornness and passion. When others give up on you, keep the hope in yourself. Pravin Tambe’s name will not be new for those interested in cricket, but for others, it is a story of passion.
