The first episode of Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) popular actor Tom Hiddleston’s web series ‘Loki‘ has been released on Disney Plus Hotstar. MCU will now release episodes of the series on Weekly Wednesday. Its directors are Kate Herron and Michael Waldron is the main writer. Such a unique world has been established through this web series, which has neither beginning nor end. In fact, this is the real thrill of this series.

Tom Hiddleston is famous among people for his character ‘Loki‘. Loki is the brother of Thor shown in the Avengers series. Because of his antics, he is called ‘God of Mischief’ i.e. ‘God of evil’.

Loki’s character has always been unpredictable. But as his character in films is very stubborn, arrogant, and headstrong, so is it in this web series. Tom Hiddleston looks very close to reality in this character. Body language is a bit different.

Loki Web Series Story:

The beginning of this web series begins with the events shown in the ‘Avengers’ series. In 2012, when Loki stole the Tesseract and disappeared, people were surprised that where did he go, what happened to him? The answer is found only in the first episode of this series. Loki is found in the Gobi Desert in Mongolia. Tries to impress the local people with his divine powers, but encounters the ‘Time Variance Authority’ (TVA) working to prevent crimes against the Sacred Timeline. This organization tracks various timelines so that events from the past and the future are in their correct order. They catch him and take him to the TVA headquarters. There Loki learns about multiversal warfare and time-keepers.

The ‘Time Variance Authority treats Loki as a variant with Loki puzzled and troubled in a new world. His variant disrupts the sacred timeline by tampering with it. TVA Agent Mobius (Owen Wilson) believes that Loki can help him capture his own variant. That’s why the people of TVA try to convince Loki.

Loki Web Series Review:

We are familiar with Loki who was killed by Thanos in Avengers Endgame, but the new variant is an updated version of him. Tom Hiddleston has made this character memorable due to his superb acting. Owen Wilson’s character as Agent Mobius comes across as a surprise factor. Amidst all the multiversal time jumping, Agent Mobius becomes a relatable character. It’s always fun watching Loki perform his tricks, but the show doesn’t shy away from dark shades either. The action scenes in the first episode are light. Because the whole focus remains on telling about the ‘Time Variance Authority’ and its people. Twist and turn are seen after the second episode. In this way, Loki can be called an exciting, interesting but quirky web series, which lives up to the standards of MCU.

Overall:

Overall, the web series Loki is the first non-avengers series from Marvel Studios, which manages to create a unique world for itself.
