Jogi Movie Review:

Diljit Dosanjh has done the best work of his career in this film. He brings out Jogi’s helplessness, and pain, which leaves a big impression on you. Diljit carries a lot of the film on his shoulders very comfortably. Mohammad Zeeshan Ayub, Neelu Kohli, and Paresh Pahuja have supported him in the film. All three have put life into their characters. Zeeshan has become Jogi’s friend, who extends a helping hand to the people by fighting his senior in the game of death instigated by politics.

But one actor who has done more amazing work is Kumud Mishra. Kumud played the character of Trilokpuri counselor Tejpal Arora in the film. Tejpal is such a person, who is dearer than people’s lives and has a ticket to his MP. Kumud Mishra has played this character so well that you start hating him. In the film, Hiten Tejwani also appeared in the role of a policeman. Hiten’s work makes him stand out from the rest of the actors in the film.

Actress Amyra Dastur has played the role of Jogi’s girlfriend. Amyra’s romance with Diljit was quite cute. Director Ali Abbas Zafar puts many heart-wrenching scenes in front of you at the very beginning of his film. Burning DTC buses, people covered in blood and burning alive, and the rioters running after them… all this sounds heartbreaking.

Along with emotions, the film is also full of action and thrill. However, it also has some drawbacks. In the second half, the story seems a bit dull. But overall, this film keeps you hooked.

Jogi Movie Rating:

  • 4 / 5 (⭐⭐⭐⭐)
